* Blatt started the game with his beloved match zone defence. Fener used the miss matches such a defence creates in order to post up against smaller players. When Darussafaka switched to personal defence Fener had a difficult time, mostly because Darussafaka guarded extremely well the high pick'n'roll and dismantled Fener's offence, who finished the game with just 11 team assists.

* With Wilbekin being out, Wanamaker remained Blatt's only playmaker. He had 11 out of Darussafaka's 16 assits. Obradovic put the defensive focus on him, guarding him with taller players (which means everyone except Dixon) and making automatic aggressive switches after a screen. The plan was simple: with Wanamaker out of the game, Darrusafaka's offence would not flow. When Wannamaker made two consecutive baskets, Obradovic immediately called a time out. So Fener stopped him from scoring, but not from feeding his teammates.
* Darussakafa has a lazy offence: they rely on individual plays rather than on ball movement. Sometimes there is movement of players. Sometimes Wanamaker just dribbles for 16 seconds and than tries to make a basket. When they move the ball around (or move without the ball), nice things happens.

* With two teams who worked hard to sabotage each others offensive game, no wonder the leading scorers where Clyburn and Bogdanovic. Both of them are athletic and talented, and are able to create points out of sole individual moves. Both of them are difficult to defend.
* Both teams had horrible precentage from the three. Darussafaka just had more second chance options, taking 11 offensive boards, 4 of them of the excellent Zizic. Maccabi Tel Aviv released him from their youth club, and are surely going to regret it for the next years.

* In the last quarter Obradovic played with Udoh and Vesely together, in an attempt to put an end to Darussafaka's offensive reboundung festival. This line up also sealed the paint completely, and left Blatt's players no other choice to make points other than throwing three pointers. Which seems like a good solution, since no team were shooting well from that range. But luckily for Darussafaka, Clyburn and Moerman were able to drill some three pointers in the crucial minutes.
